A speech/language evaluation is approximately 1 hour in duration. A case history is gathered from the parent about a child's developmental milestones and medical history, and then the child is administered formal standardized tests to measure his or her speech and/or language skills based on age. After the evaluation is complete, a detailed report will be provided to the parent containing a summary of the child's strengths and weaknesses, as well as an individualized plan of care with goals to target specific skills in which the child may need support.

Speech & Language Evaluation

A speech/language treatment session is conducted at the child's school or home. Materials and activities are carefully selected by the therapist to target the child's individual goals on his or her plan of care.
